St. Mary won against Harrison on Monday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Gaels didn't even let the Wood-Ridge Blue Devils on the board, marking the Gaels' second-straight 10-0 shutout. Considering the Gaels have won six matchups by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Mary has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Wood-Ridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.
