Volleyball Recap: Verdugo Hills' Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Verdugo Hills waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Monroe Vikings by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Verdugo Hills had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-21, 25-16, 25-17.

Verdugo Hills' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. As for Monroe, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

As of now, neither Verdugo Hills nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
