Volleyball Recap: Weyauwega-Fremont Comes Up Short

Weyauwega-Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wauwatosa West Trojans.

McKenna Ferg paced Weyauwega-Fremont's offense, picking up ten kills. Ferg got some help from Jayln Loehrke and her eight assists. Ferg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Weyauwega-Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Wauwatosa West, their victory bumped their record up to 18-12.

Weyauwega-Fremont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Wittenberg-Birnamwood on the 7th. As for Wauwatosa West, they will square off against Brookfield Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
