Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Alianna Davis and Aubrey Fritz Lead Stebbins to Victory

Stebbins won the last time they faced Greenville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Stebbins Indians enjoyed a cozy 53-37 victory over the Greenville Green Wave.

Leading Stebbins to victory were Aubrey Fritz and Alianna Davis. Fritz went 8 for 9 en route to 21 points in addition to six steals and five assists, while Davis went 7 of 10 on her way to 21 points and five assists. Fritz has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Stebbins was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Stebbins' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-6. As for Greenville, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.

Stebbins wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-45 victory against Sidney on the 27th. Greenville has also already played their next contest (against Tippecanoe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
