Basketball Game Preview: Lyman Raiders vs. Lower Brule Sioux

Having just played yesterday, the Lyman Raiders will jump right back in to play the Lower Brule Sioux at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lyman has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Lyman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 79-44 win over Burke.

Meanwhile, Lower Brule came into Friday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They enjoyed a cozy 55-36 victory over Kimball/White Lake on Friday.

Lower Brule's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Lyman, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Lyman ended up a good deal behind Lower Brule in their previous matchup back in March of 2021, losing 51-36. Can Lyman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
