Basketball Game Preview: Salem Blue Devils vs. Concord Crimson Tide

The Salem Blue Devils will face off against the Concord Crimson Tide at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Salem and 11 for Concord.

Salem is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Windham, who was ranked seventh at the time (Salem was ranked 20th). Salem fell just short of Windham by a score of 45-42 on Friday. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Concord came up short against Timberlane on Friday, falling 48-28.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Concord, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Salem didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Concord when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 66-60 win. Does Salem have another victory up their sleeve, or will Concord turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
