            Football Recap: South Newton Rebels vs. Frontier Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            South Newton fell victim to Frontier and their airtight defense  on Friday. They had to suffer through  a    49-0 loss at the hands of the Falcons. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Rebels haven't been shut out since  back in August.
 Lyle Harrington threw for 44 yards  on seven of 16 attempts.
  Dylan Brown had an outrageously good game for Frontier as he rushed for 90 yards and three  touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 134 yards and a pair of  TDs while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave  Brown a new career-high in  passing touchdowns (two).
South Newton has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record  this season. As for Frontier, the  victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
 South Newton and Frontier are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Rebels will be playing in front of their home fans against West Central  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 10.9  points per game  this season, so South Newton's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Frontier, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Tri-County  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Falcons will be up against the Cavaliers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 48.88  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
