Softball Recap: Rutherford Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Rutherford's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Altha Wildcats on Friday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rutherford saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenzie Nance, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Nance's first of the season.

Rutherford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Altha, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rutherford will take on Mosley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Altha, they will face off against Sneads at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
