            Softball Recap: Edsel Ford Thunderbirds vs. Trenton Trojans        
        
		
        
        
            Edsel Ford had lost seven straight on the road, but  on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 1-10 to make it eight. They lost  19-0 to the Trenton Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  13-5  on Wednesday.
As for Trenton, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3. Considering they have won four matchups by more than seven  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
For Trenton's part,  Sofia Klug looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Analy Guth was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Emme Febela, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base.
 Looking ahead, Edsel Ford will take on Anderson at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Trenton, they will venture away from home to  take on Lincoln Park  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Railsplitters have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.17  runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
