Soccer Recap: Fort Bend Elkins Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Fort Bend Elkins was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Frenship Tigers finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

Creighton Mitchell was the only thing that stood between Fort Bend Elkins and a shutout considering he scored both of Fort Bend Elkins' goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

With that draw, Fort Bend Elkins' record moves to 2-4-1. As for Frenship, they moved theirs to 5-1-1.

Fort Bend Elkins will square off against Ridge Point at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Frenship, they will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
