Basketball Game Preview: Marion Giants vs. Wabash Apaches

Marion has gone a perfect 3-0 against Wabash recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Giants just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Apaches at 7:00 p.m. Marion knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Wabash likes a good challenge.

Marion took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 67-55 win over Richmond.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Wabash beat Maconaquah 45-41 on Friday.

Wabash's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Marion, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Marion against Wabash in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 79-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Giants since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
