Volleyball Recap: Winder-Barrow Takes a Loss

Winder-Barrow lost against Morgan County back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldoggs fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Morgan County had a senior duo take command as Camryn Scherer had 13 digs and five assists and Riley Mitchell had six digs and four aces.

Winder-Barrow has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Morgan County, the win (which was their 11th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Winder-Barrow will be playing in front of their home fans against Flowery Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morgan County, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Mill Creek on the 9th.
