Cook came up big in Montgomery Academy's 8-7 defeat
While Montgomery Academy might've come up empty on Thursday, Parker Cook wasn't going down without a fight. Alabama Christian Academy had no answer to Cook as he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with a home run and four RBI.
Even though Cook couldn't lead Montgomery Academy over Alabama Christian Academy, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Montgomery Academy has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since February of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
