Volleyball Recap: Bonsall Takes a Loss

Bonsall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the San Diego Academy Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 8th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21, 25-17.

Bonsall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for San Diego Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bonsall is set to take on their familiar foe Bayfront Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, San Diego Academy will square off against rival Chula Vista Learning Community Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
