Sprayberry is 8-2 against Lassiter since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sprayberry Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to square off against the Lassiter Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Sprayberry will be strutting in after a win while Lassiter will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Sprayberry didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Woodstock, but they still walked away with a 52-46 victory.

Meanwhile, Lassiter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by River Ridge 70-30. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while the Knights are ranked first).

Lassiter's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-12. As for Sprayberry, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Sprayberry didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Lassiter in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 53-47 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sprayberry since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
