Basketball Recap: Valley Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Valley Christian extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 3-0. Everything went their way against the Priory Panthers as they made off with a 73-50 win. The Warriors not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 11th (when they won 71-47).

Having lost for the first time this season, Priory fell to 5-1. The game marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Priory still got an impressive performance from Mate Palotai, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. The contest was Palotai's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Teddy Xanthopoulos was another key player, putting up seven points and eight rebounds.

Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-50 victory against Sacred Heart Prep on the 11th. As for Priory, they have also already played their next matchup, a 75-51 win against Half Moon Bay on the 11th.
