Soccer Recap: International Comes Up Short at Home Against Providence Cristo Rey

International unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 7-1 to the Providence Cristo Rey Wolves on Tuesday. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly International struggled afterwards.

The win got Providence Cristo Rey back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. International is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Park Tudor at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be International's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Providence Cristo Rey, they will square off against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
