Football Recap: Fitchburg Comes Up Short

Fitchburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Nashoba Regional Wolves, falling 42-6. If the Red Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 40-7 to the Wolves when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fitchburg's record now sits at 0-5. As for Nashoba Regional, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fitchburg is set to face off against their familiar foe Marlborough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Nashoba Regional will challenge rival Shepherd Hill Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
