Soccer Recap: Woodland Christian Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Woodland Christian was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Esparto Spartans. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Woodland Christian now has a losing record at 6-7-1. As for Esparto, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3-1.

When Woodland Christian and Esparto next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Woodland Christian will try to stop Lindhurst's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Esparto will square off against Highlands and their four-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
