Starks has gone a perfect 3-0 against Plainview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Starks Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Plainview Hornets at 3:30 p.m. Starks is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Starks took a 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Reeves, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Starks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Reeves on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Starks saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Gore, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Kaison Howard was another, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Plainview won against Alexandria Country Day on Tuesday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went Plainview's way against South Cameron as Plainview made off with a 12-3 victory. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Tarpons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Kendan Maricle was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Lee, who scored two runs while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Starks' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Plainview, their record now sits at 7-9.

Everything went Starks' way against Plainview when the teams last played back in March of 2021, as Starks made off with a 19-5 win. Does Starks have another victory up their sleeve, or will Plainview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
