Soccer Game Preview: Poway vs. Rancho Bernardo + How To Watch

The Poway Titans will square off against the Rancho Bernardo Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Poway's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Poway managed to keep up with Westview until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Titans came up short against the Wolverines, falling 5-1.

Poway's goal came courtesy of Afshin Jaberizad Hernandez, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Rancho Bernardo after they claimed the first goal on Wednesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Mission Hills by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Rancho Bernardo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while Mission Hills are ranked 118th).

Rancho Bernardo now has a losing record of 5-6-2. As for Poway, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-5.
