Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Catholic lost against Lamar back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bruins lost 3-0 to the Raiders. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While St. Joseph Catholic was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lamar's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-8, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Olivia Miles, who had five digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in July.

St. Joseph Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lamar, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Catholic will face off against Pillow Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lamar, they will challenge Union at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
