On Friday, Cromwell got the W thanks in part to Lane Gervais playing the best basketball he has all season. Gervais went 7 of 13 on his way to 19 points. The effort also marked the most boards (four) he has had since back in February of 2024. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

Gervais and Cromwell will host Deer River at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Cromwell will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 184 places lower in Minnesota), but they're not letting that get them down.
