Basketball Recap: New Hope-Solebury Comes Up Short

New Hope-Solebury lost against Upper Moreland back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The New Hope-Solebury Lions had to suffer through a 62-32 loss at the hands of the Upper Moreland Bears. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Bears are ranked 19th).

New Hope-Solebury dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Upper Moreland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

New Hope-Solebury and Lower Moreland will compete for holiday cheer at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Upper Moreland, they will head out to face off against Cheltenham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
