New Covenant Academy won the last time they faced Everton and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant New Covenant Academy was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-8, 25-11.

Kiera Edwards paced New Covenant Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Edwards got some help from Addy Mouery and her 12 assists. Edwards was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

New Covenant Academy's victory bumped their record up to 20-4-3. As for Everton, they moved to 13-8-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

New Covenant Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Sparta on the 13th. As for Everton, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lockwood at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th.
