Fremd came tearing into Thursday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Prospect Knights by a score of 48-37. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Prospect lost, don't look at Allison Linke. Despite the final result, she posted 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Linke has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played.

Fremd's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-5. As for Prospect, their loss dropped their record down to 24-7.
