Baseball Recap: Green Hope Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Green Hope was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Apex Friendship Patriots by a score of 3-2. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Green Hope saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Martin, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Green Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Apex Friendship, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Green Hope nor Apex Friendship have any future games scheduled.
