Softball Game Preview: Asotin Panthers vs. Colfax Bulldogs

Asotin hasn't had much luck against Colfax recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Asotin is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna.

Meanwhile, Colfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Liberty, falling 13-3.

Colfax saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Huntley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Huntley is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.

Asotin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Colfax, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
