Recap: Greer Yellow Jackets vs. Eastside Eagles
There's no place like home for the Greer Yellow Jackets, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 48-37 win over Eastside on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Greer also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Greer's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Eastside, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-3 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greer will take on Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastside, they will be playing at home against Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Riverside is ranked 13th, while Eastside is ranked 29th).
