Basketball Recap: Windsor Locks Gets the Win

St. Paul Catholic came into Wednesday's matchup looking for another win against Windsor Locks, but Sincere Monroe wouldn't allow it. The Windsor Locks Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Paul Catholic Falcons on Wednesday, sneaking past 62-60 thanks in part to Monroe, who went 10 of 25 on his way to 33 points. The contest was his 11th in a row with at least ten points.

Windsor Locks' win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for St. Paul Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor Locks will square off against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Paul Catholic, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the St. Paul Catholic Falcons duke it out with the Kennedy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Paul Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Kennedy likes a good challenge.
