Soccer Recap: Homewood-Flossmoor Comes Up Short

Homewood-Flossmoor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bloom Blazing Trojan. Homewood-Flossmoor were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bloom apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Homewood-Flossmoor's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Bloom, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Coming up, Homewood-Flossmoor will face off against Bradley-Bourbonnais at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bloom, they will take on Beecher at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
