Soccer Recap: West Point Comes Up Short

If West Point was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Kemper County last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Green Wave lost 8-0 to the New Hope Trojans on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against New Hope this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in January.

West Point has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for New Hope, they pushed their record up to 11-9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither West Point nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
