Basketball Recap: Stilwell's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Stilwell came into Friday's game having lost 15 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging an 82-14 win over the Nathan Hale Rangers. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Stilwell found their leader in sophomore Kassidy Davis, who went 6 for 8 en route to 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for Davis. Another player making a difference was Kate Wilson, who posted nine points.

Stilwell was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Stilwell's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-14. As for Nathan Hale, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Stilwell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-39 win against Inola on the 25th. Nathan Hale has also already played their next game, a 68-26 loss against Cushing on the 25th.
