Ashland-Greenwood and Raymond Central played the most hotly contested game in C1 District 3 this week, with Ashland-Greenwood eventually emerging with a 29-27 victory.
Ashland-Greenwood's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bluejays feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Gunnar Garner has thrown for 216 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Jordan Scheil has seven catches for 106 yards. Garner also leads the league in rushing with 227 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Bluejays take on Bishop Neumann. Ashland-Greenwood's offense has recorded 59 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Cavaliers have permitted only 157 on the year.
A big matchup in C1 District 3 this week will be when the Mustangs take on Wahoo. At the moment, Raymond Central is in third, while the Warriors are in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Nathan Liess's team takes on Wahoo. The Mustangs have allowed 77 points this season, while Chad Fox's team has given up 73.
Bishop Neumann led the league in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on Logan View.
