Basketball Recap: Jay County Comes Up Short

Jay County was the 59-53 winner over Pendleton Heights when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Jay County Patriots were dealt a 77-29 loss at the hands of the Pendleton Heights Arabians on Monday. The match marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Jay County and nudges their season record down to 7-7. As for Pendleton Heights, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pendleton Heights beat Jay County by a score of 77-27 on Thursday.
