Basketball Recap: Mardela Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. Michaels last Thursday, Mardela came back down to earth. The Mardela Warriors took a blow against the Snow Hill Eagles on Monday, falling 46-15. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Mardela's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Snow Hill, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

Mardela wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 45-22 loss against Bennett on the 18th. As for Snow Hill, they have also already played their next contest, a 60-29 defeat against Decatur on the 18th.
