Volleyball Recap: Needham Beats Framingham for Their Tenth Straight Win

Needham waltzed into their match on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Everything went their way against the Framingham Flyers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Needham was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Lillian Soulia, who had seven aces. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high. Raleigh Dellamarggio also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Needham's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Framingham, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Needham will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Milton at 4:00 p.m. As for Framingham, they will head out on the road to take on Newton North at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
