Basketball Recap: Lowville's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Lowville had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the New Hartford Spartans 73-52 on Saturday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Red Raiders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 444th, while the Spartans are ranked 221st).

Lowville's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for New Hartford, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Lowville will be playing at home against General Brown at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Hartford, they will square off against Whitesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
