After a string of three wins, West Sioux's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to West Sioux of the 5-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

West Sioux's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Coincidentally, West Sioux and MOC-Floyd Valley will both be playing Western Christian the next time they take the pitch. The Dutchmen will head out to face the Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
