Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Andrew Mulyadi and Vihaan Soni Lead Olentangy Liberty to Victory

Olentangy Liberty won the last time they faced Olentangy Orange and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots put the hurt on the Pioneers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-8, 25-15.

Olentangy Liberty was led to victory by Vihaan Soni and Andrew Mulyadi. Soni had eight digs and two aces, while Mulyadi had three digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Mulyadi a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Olentangy Liberty was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive games.

Olentangy Liberty's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Olentangy Orange, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olentangy Liberty will host Bishop Watterson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Olentangy Orange, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Licking Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight.
