Hoggard waltzed into their match on Thursday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They blew past the Laney Buccaneers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Hoggard's got stronger as the match went on, holding Laney to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 25-11.

Norah Davis paced Hoggard's offense, picking up 16 kills. Davis got some help from Lily Voth and her 18 assists. Davis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

When it comes to explaining why Laney lost, don't look at Kinsley Nagle. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and seven assists.

Hoggard's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Laney, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
