Warren Township got themselves on the board against Zion-Benton on Wednesday, but Zion-Benton never followed suit. They blew past the Zee-Bees 10-0. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Warren Township is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Zion-Benton, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-8-1 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren Township will head out to take on Grayslake Central at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Zion-Benton, they will venture away from home to challenge Highland Park at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
