Basketball Game Preview: Tipton Tigers vs. West Branch Bears

Tipton is 2-8 against West Branch since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tipton Tigers will host the West Branch Bears at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

It was a proper cat-fight when Tipton took on Lisbon on Saturday. Tipton lost to Lisbon on the road by a 75-58 margin.

Meanwhile, West Branch sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-64 victory over Wilton on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Beavers: they've now won four in a row.

West Branch's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Tipton, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Tipton came out on top in a nail-biter against West Branch when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 51-49. Will Tipton repeat their success, or does West Branch have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
