Baseball Game Preview: Westmont Sentinels vs. Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers

The Westmont Sentinels will head out on the road to challenge the Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Westmont lost 14-1 to Northridge on Wednesday. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westmont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxson Chinea, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. That hit marked the first that Chinea got this season.

Meanwhile, Rochelle Zell Jewish fell victim to Mather and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Rangers, falling 13-0.

Westmont now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Rochelle Zell Jewish, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything went Westmont's way against Rochelle Zell Jewish when the teams last played back in March of 2018, as Westmont made off with an 18-1 win. Will Westmont repeat their success, or does Rochelle Zell Jewish has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
