Slidell is 10-0 against Era since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Slidell Greyhounds are taking a road trip to take on the Era Hornets at 8:00 p.m. Slidell knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Era likes a good challenge.

If Slidell beats Era with 76 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Slidell strolled past Lindsay with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 76-57.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Era). They breezed by Chico to the tune of 69-42 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Hornets have posted since December 3, 2024.

Slidell's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.5 points per game. As for Era, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-14 record.

Everything came up roses for Slidell against Era when the teams last played on January 7th, as the squad secured a 75-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Slidell since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
