Basketball Recap: Holloway Comes Up Short

Holloway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 61-39 to the KIPP Nashville Collegiate Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Holloway this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-38 back in December of 2024.

Kadarius Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for KIPP Nashville Collegiate, putting up 15 points. Another player making a difference was Tyshaun Braden, who posted 11 points.

Holloway's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for KIPP Nashville Collegiate, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Holloway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for KIPP Nashville Collegiate, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-39 defeat against Whites Creek on the 24th.
