Allie Workman and Asia Lee secure win for Olathe North

Recap: Olathe North Eagles vs. Shawnee Mission North Bison

A well-balanced attack led the Olathe North Eagles over the Shawnee Mission North Bison in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Everything went Olathe North's way against Shawnee Mission North as Olathe North made off with a 49-26 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Olathe North had established a 22 point advantage.

Olathe North was led to victory by Allie Workman and Asia Lee. Workman scored nine points along with four steals, while Lee scored 19 points along with three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lee has scored at least a third of Olathe North's points. Another player making a difference was Lailah Simmons, who scored five points along with six rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Olathe North and bumps their season record up to 7-9. As for Shawnee Mission North, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1.

Olathe North will head out on the road to square off against Lawrence at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Olathe North focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for Shawnee Mission North, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Olathe Northwest.
