Baseball Game Preview: Watertown Raiders vs. Arlington Spy Ponders

The Watertown Raiders will challenge the Arlington Spy Ponders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Watertown hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Watertown managed to slip by Winchester the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders came up short against the Red & Black on Wednesday, falling 8-2.

Meanwhile, Arlington made easy work of Melrose on Wednesday and carried off a 7-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Spy Ponders in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Will Sadowski, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Sitota Levine, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Arlington, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
