The South Hills Huskies will face off against the Covina Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Hills is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.

Last Thursday, South Hills came up short against Chino and fell 21-14. While the Huskies had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Cowboys 14-7.

Although South Hills took the loss, they still got scores from Messiah Luter and Anthony Gonzales.

Even though they lost, South Hills was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 241 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 241 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

South Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Covina, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Friday's game might be decided in the on the ground. South Hills has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 237.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Covina struggles in that department as they've been averaging 252.5. It's looking like Friday's match might have some serious battles in the trenches.
