Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Warriors vs. Atlantic Christian Sharks
The Trinity Christian Academy Warriors and the Atlantic Christian Sharks squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but sadly the Trinity Christian Academy Warriors had to settle for second. They were dealt a 59-30 loss at the hands of the Sharks. Trinity Christian Academy has struggled against the Sharks recently, as their matchup on Monday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Trinity Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elsheema Saintyl, who scored 13 points. Nana Saintyl was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Trinity Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Atlantic Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
Trinity Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Atlantic Christian is on the road again on Wednesday and plays the Knights on February 7th. Pine is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
